Book Club, July 20
Join us at 7 pm on Monday, July 20th at 7 pm for socializing and snacks; drinks will be provided, please bring some snacks to share. Eden will be hosting will be hosting at the Parkside Neighborhood in South Austin.  The discussion begins at 8 pm on  Zoom. Remember even if you haven’t read the book or finished it, the discussions are always relevant and good. We will be discussing Where The Forest Meets the Stars by  Glendy Vanderah  (March 2019, 333 pages) After the loss of her mother and her own battle with breast cancer, Joanna Teale returns to her graduate research on nesting birds in rural Illinois, determined to prove that her recent hardships have not broken her. She throws herself into her work from dusk to dawn, until her solitary routine is disrupted by the appearance of a mysterious child who shows up at her cabin barefoot and covered in bruises.
